The British Chamber of Commerce Cambodia (BritCham) will host its latest Business Breakfast on October 22, 2025, at Sok Siphana Sethalay – GIA Tower, focusing on the increasingly important topic of Competition Law in Cambodia.
The event will bring together leading voices from the legal, business, and government sectors to explore how competition law is shaping Cambodia’s evolving business environment. Attendees will gain insight into how the law impacts mergers and acquisitions, market competition, pricing strategies, and corporate compliance.
An exciting addition to the speaker lineup is Penn Virakoudom, Director of Competition at the Consumer Protection, Competition and Fraud Repression Directorate-General (CCF), under the Ministry of Commerce, Kingdom of Cambodia. He will deliver an exclusive address outlining the government’s position on the development of competition law in the Kingdom.
Penn has played a key role in shaping Cambodia’s legal and regulatory landscape. Prior to his current position, he served as Deputy Director General of the CCF and was instrumental in drafting and managing regulations under both the Law on Competition and Law on Consumer Protection. His international experience includes secondments with the New Zealand Commerce Commission and the Korean Fair-Trade Commission, reflecting his deep expertise in international best practices.
