Remembrance Day this year will be observed on Sunday 8th November to remember and pay our respects to the members of their armed forces who have died in the line of duty and to mark the end to the hostilities of World War I. This is a memorial day observed in the UK and Commonwealth Nations since the end of the First World War.
H.E. Bill Longhurst, British Ambassador, Mr. David Tibbott, Chairman of the Chamber, and Mr. Andrew Tay, President of the St. John Brigade Singapore / Director of Himawari Hotel, will be leading the proceedings
The commemoration will take place at the Garden Terrace of the Himawari Hotel.

10.00 am Arrival of guests and registration
10.30 am Programme begins
11.00 am Two minutes of silence observed followed by laying of Poppy Wreath on the river
11.20 am Tea Break to be served to guests
